Connecticut Arts Foundation is ready to make its first Artist Grant! For our Spring 2026 award we will make a living-wage grant of $75,000 for one year to a Connecticut artist who is primarily a painter. In addition to the funds, we will create opportunities for exhibition and offer a suite of Professional Development courses. The goal is, at the end of the grant period, the artist will be well on their way to a successful, sustainable creative practice.
