Artist Statement
My work is rooted in storytelling through color, texture, and form. I’m interested in how identity is built through lived experience and how those experiences can be translated into visual language.
Much of my practice is shaped by community. Whether working with youth or collaborating on public murals, I create space for people to contribute their voices and see themselves reflected in the final piece. I view art as both a personal release and a collective tool for connection.
Across painting, murals, and illustration, I aim to capture moments that feel honest, layered, and emotionally present. My goal is to create work that resonates on a human level while leaving room for interpretation and dialogue.
