Artist Statement
Several years ago, I was introduced to the practice of drawing from life, as opposed to the imagination. Since the introduction, I have been fascinated with creating art that represents the world around me.
I gravitate towards drawing and painting figures in focus. I find it special when one is truly immersed in whatever may captivate--thought, music, play.
I typically complete works in one sitting, preferring to work quickly and experiment with style constantly.
