The Inwood Design District and Ace on Inwood is seeking talented artists or artist teams to design and execute a vibrant, large-scale mural within a newly reimagined and renovated alleyway, affectionately named the Art Docks. This project aims to transform a functional urban space into an engaging, inspirational, and highly visible public art destination in the heart of Dallas’s design community. Inwood Design District and Ace on Inwood are a modern evolution of the former Inwood Design Center: an elevated, mixed-use destination where commerce, creativity, and connectivity converge. Located at the Inwood Road and Irving Boulevard interchange, just one minute from I-35, IDD & Ace offers unmatched access, visibility, and optionality.
Selection Process An artist selection panel will review qualified submissions. Approximately 15 artists will be chosen to participate Once selected, artists will be assigned a wall based on their wall size preference. The stipend must cover all artist expenses not provided.
