ChaNorth, Chashama's upstate artist residency, located just outside of Pine Plains, NY in the Hudson Valley since 2006, accepts applications in all creative fields, including visual arts, writing, music composition, choreography, and performance. Curating small, dynamic, diverse, interactive groups, the program offers national and international artists space, time, and inspiration to create new work, as well as networking, exhibition, and teaching opportunities. Participation in community engagement projects, such as the McEnroe Organic Farm Work Exchange, is part of the residency. Upstate Art Weekend is also a highlight of the program.
