TechnoMirage invites artists, designers, technologists, performers, and worldbuilders to confront the illusion of neutral progress projected by machine intelligence—and reimagine what else AI could become. We’re especially interested in practices that resist extractive systems, expose optimization myths, reclaim ghosted authorship, and disturb machinic hallucinations of control and neutrality. Co-presented by Underground Art and Design and Liminal, this multi-format event series spans both NYC and international audiences, offering diverse entry points into critical dialogue and imaginative practice around AI: Virtual Exhibition "Ghost in the Feedback Loop" (on New Art City) In-person NYC Panel, Workshop, and Performance Global Online Panel (co-hosted with Parsons School of Design) Publication featuring artist interviews, artifacts, and panel highlights We’re looking for work that challenges extractive systems, optimization myths, ghosted authorship, machinic hallucinations, and algorithmic erasures.
