All are welcome to celebrate J. M. W. Turner’s birthday with coffee, tea, and cake before the exhibition opening lecture, beginning at 4 pm. J. M. W. Turner was born 250 years ago on April 23, 1775. To mark this milestone and the Yale Center for British Art’s new exhibition J. M. W. Turner: Romance and Reality, refreshments will be served in the Library Court.
