A sentimental woman who wants to remember everything. She works in an office of a Holocaust museum and ends up finding love in spite of it all. A DEAD MAN, GORDON: Male, Age approximately 40-50. A bit of jerk when he was alive, had affairs when married to Hermit. He devised a moral justification for selling blackmarket organs, and craved lobster bisque on the day he died. GORDON’S MOTHER, MRS. GOTTLIEB: Female, Age approximately 55-70. A little anemic, a carnivore, mother of two boys, thought she loved Gordon best. She wears red during mourning and literally will not live without him. GORDONS WIDOW, HERMIA: Female, Age approximately 40-50. Catholic, a bit of bitch to her husband, had affairs when she was married to Gordon, and has had to deal with the fact that she married the wrong man. She drinks cosmopolitans. GORDON’S BROTHER, DWIGHT: Male, Approximately 40-50. Struggled with his jerk of a brother, Gordon. An optimist determined to love in the ways of “worthies” according to John Donne. THE OTHER WOMAN/STRANGER : Female, Male, or Trans, approximately 30-50. Dark and forbidding and taken to clocking people over the head when it suits them.
