𝗔𝗡 𝗜𝗡𝗧𝗜𝗠𝗔𝗧𝗘, 𝗘𝗫𝗣𝗘𝗥𝗜𝗘𝗡𝗧𝗜𝗔𝗟 𝗖𝗢𝗡𝗖𝗘𝗥𝗧 𝗦𝗘𝗥𝗜𝗘𝗦 𝗥𝗘𝗖𝗢𝗥𝗗𝗘𝗗 𝗟𝗜𝗩𝗘 𝗜𝗡 𝗙𝗥𝗢𝗡𝗧 𝗢𝗙 𝗔 𝗦𝗧𝗨𝗗𝗜𝗢 𝗔𝗨𝗗𝗜𝗘𝗡𝗖𝗘 𝗝𝗮𝗸𝗲 𝗦𝘄𝗮𝗺𝗽 songs range from powerful acoustic anthems to knee-slapping hoedowns to slow and somber waltzes, drawing on diverse influences from the Americana, folk, singer-songwriter, bluegrass, and jam band traditions. You can get all that just from listening to one song.” Swamp and his full band, Jake Swamp And The Pine, have been nominated four years in a row for the Boston Music Awards Americana Act of the Year, as well as New England Music Awards Americana Act of the Year. 𝗠𝗶𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗲𝗹 𝗦𝗮𝗻𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗱 𝗗𝗮𝘆 is a founding member, songwriter, lead vocalist, guitarist and banjoist for Hartford-based Americana outfit, Among The Acres. Along with their impressive accolades, appearances on CT Style and deep tour history throughout New England, Among The Acres was named ctNOW Reader’s Choice Awards Winner for Best Americana Act in 2019. Day makes a stop at The Den as he embarks on a brilliant solo project. His sound feels like home; effortlessly fusing a blend of Folk, Roots Rock and Americana. Michael Day is unapologetically soulful in his autobiographical ballads, embodying the true essence of folk in his sound and presence. And just like that, he will transition into an irresistible foot-stomping tune to keep you both charmed and captivated. Enter The Recording Den... located at 127 Amity Road (CT-Route 63), just minutes outside of New Haven. “The Den” also serves as an intimate performance venue, suited for a studio audience with robust live-streaming capabilities. A perfect space for album releases, VIP experiences, podcasting, private events, rehearsals and more. Owners, Lois Larson Branch, Travis S. Branch and Lead Studio Engineer Michael Sorrentino moved shop from Trumbull, CT (where the studio had existed since 2014) to Bethany in 2019, where they spent the majority of the pandemic renovating the old Post Office into its state-of-the-art, vintage-adorned glory. The Recording Den folks have recorded and mastered music for hundreds of talented artists, created movie soundtracks, produced documentaries, NPR Tiny Desk submissions, music videos, podcasts, plus shot commercials and product marketing videos for their corporate clients. While sinking their roots deeper into their new home on Amity Road, the folks at The Recording Den have been working on exciting new initiatives. Combining a passion for community with a personal and professional love for music... Live From The Den was born. 𝗟𝗜𝗩𝗘 𝗙𝗥𝗢𝗠 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗗𝗘𝗡 showcases artists and bands live from The Recording Den sound stage - giving the community and fans a one-of-a-kind experiential live music opportunity. The artists will play a live, ticketed show for an audience, while the audio and video are professionally recorded and live-streamed – giving the artists an opportunity to immortalize an awesome show. Live From The Den gives local folks a unique live music experience close to home, while also allowing local businesses to join in on the fun.
